Seven Bombers (football, volleyball) named to All-NAC teams

The Windham Bombers landed seven players on All-Northeastern Athletic Conference teams during the fall 2023 season.

In football, Jack Eye and Anthony Paolella earned First Team honors, while Carlos Bruton and Jace Heil were both named Honorable Mention.

On offense, Eye, a junior, finished the season with 684 yards rushing and 128 yards receiving in an injury-shortened season. He scored nine touchdowns. Defensively, Eye finished with a team-leading 79 tackles.

Paolella, a senior, was the team’s best offensive lineman and helped create running lanes for both Eye and Bruton, while also protecting quarterback Dylan McCune.

Bruton’s season included 606 yards rushing and 184 yards receiving, along with seven touchdowns. The junior also produced defensively with 68 tackles.

Heil, a senior, was another quality producer on the offensive line for the Bombers.

In volleyball, three Bombers were recognized on the All-NAC team.

Senior Briah Daniel was named to the All-NAC First Team. She finished the year with 204 kills and a Portage County leading 96 blocks.

The All-NAC Honorable Mention team also included Lorena De Oliveira and Quinn Justham.

De Oliveira, a foreigh-exchange student from Brazil, had 70 aces this season, while Justham had 407 assists.
