The 1980 Mogadore High School football team finished the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record and captured the program’s 16th league championship.

The Wildcats advanced to the state semifinal after a 21-20 regional championship victory over Lorain Clearview.

The Cats lost in the state semifinal, 6-0, to Tiffin Calvert.
