The NAQT’s small school state championships were hosted in Upper Sandusky this past weekend, including competition between 32 teams from 25 different schools from 21 counties.

Here is a peek at the local results (with a special thank you to Greg Bossick for helping share information):

SOUTHEAST

4-5 overall (3-2 in preliminary rounds to qualify for championship bracket)
12th place
Rd 1: Lost to Sycamore Mohawk 135-180
Rd 2: Beat Kenton 215-90
Rd 3: Beat Columbiana 235-50
Rd 4: Lost to Lancaster Fisher Catholic 70-280
Rd 5: Beat Millersburg West Holmes A 330-140
Rd 6: Lost to (eventual champion) Dayton Miami Valley 155-345
Rd 7: Beat Ottawa Hills B 235-90
Rd 8: Lost to Pandora-Gilboa 130-245
Rd 9: Lost to Metamora Evergreen 150-205
Cooper Kelly finished second in individual scoring averaging 83.33 points per game. He was named All-Ohio Small School First Team.

Autumn Riemenschneider led a balanced team effort with 18.67 points per game. She was named All-Ohio Small School Honorable Mention.
