Kent Lanes is hosting a High School and Middle School Summer Singles Bowling League.

The league is open to all students entering grades 6 through 12.

“The league is a perfect opportunity to improve your bowling skills, meet new friends and enjoy some friendly competition,” said Al Petrosino, coach of the Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders varsity bowling teams.

The league begins May 13 and rolls-off each week at 6:30 p.m. for 14 weeks except for June 24.

Cost per week is $10 per week.

There are options for student athletes to have their own bowling ball during the league.

Pay extra each week to choose a new bowling ball ($50 for ball $210 and up, $40 for ball up to $190, $12 for ball up to $175 and $10 per week for ball up to $150.) Paying extra also includes drilling, grips and slug,
