The Crestwood Red Devils recently celebrated 11 student-athletes that were named First Team All-Chagrin Valley Conference this spring for softball and boys and girls track and field.

Girls track led the way for the Red Devils, with six different runners earning top league honors, including seniors Reagan Mory and Grace Lesknak, along with sophomores Audrey Fusci, Hannah Ward, Taylor Larch and Abby Guyette.

Softball had three All-CVC First Teamers in junior Bella Hunter and sophomores Maddie Dustman and Alyssa Hallis.

Hunter had a team-high .541 batting average, with 27 runs scored, 33 hits, 21 RBI, two home runs and 10 doubles.

Dustman batted .500, scored 15 runs, had 29 hits, 11 doubles and drove in a team-high 29 runs. Hallis was another top offensive producer with a .354 average and 19 runs, 23 hits and 10 RBI.

For boys track and field, senior Hunter Yoder (high jump) and sophomore James Durham (110 hurdles) were named First Team All-CVC.

Crestwood also had eight named to the Second Team and eight more to the Honorable-Mention list.

The Second-Teamers included softball’s Olivia Gullatta and Aimee Barnauskas, baseball’s Jonas Honeycutt and Charlie Sommer, girls track’s Elaine Guyette and Kelsey Downs, and boys track’s Jimmy Peters and Kevin Vechery.
