Families bowling for an outstanding cause.

Several Aurora kids gathered to practice for the upcoming Folds of Honor Northern Ohio’s Red, White and Bowl at Spins Bowl in Kent. From the left: Harper Fulgenzi, Riley Roberts, Beckham Fulgenzi, Luke Roberts, Xavior Carr, Anthony Longo and Nash Winters.

That’s the goal of the first Red, White and Bowl scheduled for Spins Bowl in Kent on April 27 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Sponsored by the Northern Ohio Folds of Honor, the event raises money to provide life-saving educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving.

In the 2023-24 school year, Folds of Honor of Northern Ohio presented 79 educational scholarships that provided an educational impact of over $500,000.

The event at Spins Bowl in Kent will help continue that impact for families of military and first responders.

The fun night includes bowling for four to six people per lane and dinner catered by both Laziza and Mamacita’s of Kent, as well as shoes for all bowlers and a Folds of Honor swag bag for kids.

“The Northern Ohio Folds of Honor is proud to offer a new event in April for families to enjoy being together while supporting the spouses and children of our fallen and disabled military and first responders,” said Mark Sierak, Folds of Honor Regional Impact Officer.

Registration is $250 per lane for the event that is open from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Spins Bowl in Kent. Register at www.winningticket.com/foh-red-white-and-bowl-2024.

Lane sponsorships are also available at $250 per lane. Interested sponsors should email Katie Jenior Manciulea, Young Professional FOH Board of Director’s member at Kjenior@hotmail.com or Sierak at MSierak@FoldsofHonor.org.

Folds of Honor is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization.

Have a fun night at Red, White and Bowl while making an impact and honoring the sacrifice of the fallen and disabled military and first responders. All money raised will provide scholarships to educate the legacy of these brave men and women.
