Lisbon David Anderson dominated the time of possession, number of plays ran and, ultimately, the final score on opening night for the visiting Windham Bombers.

It was David Anderson that scored the 40-25 victory in a game that saw the Devils run twice as many plays and have the ball two times as long as Windham.

David Anderson ran 61 plays to Windham’s 30 and the Devils held the ball for 31:08 against Windham’s 16:36.

The two teams battled to a 6-6 tie after the first quarter, but a huge 16-point second quarter pushed the Devils to a 22-6 advantage at halftime.

The second-quarter lull was something the Bombers could never recover from.

Windham battled evenly with Lisbon throughout the second half.

Chase Eye led Windham’s offense with 43 yards rushing and 62 yards passing.

Lisbon’s ground game featured Haiden Colvin with 128 yards on 17 carries. Austin Dailey added 94 yards on 16 carries. As a team, the Devils totaled 333 yards rushing.
