NIGHT GOLF

The Fairways at Twin Lakes are hosting their first Night Golf outing of the season on Wednesday, the longest day of the year.

Registration is $220 per foursome for the nine-hole event that is walking only.

Each golfer receives glow golf balls and has the opportunity to win prizes with pizza and drinks provided.

PUTT-AROUND KENT

The annual event in the city of Kent has a different flavor this summer as Putt-Around Downtown is partnering with the Ben Curtis Foundation to support their work to fight childhood food insecurity.

Hosted June 27 from noon to 5 p.m., guests will play mini-golf throughout Kent starting at check-in at Laziza.

Play games with Ben Curtis Foundation Members. Photos with golf professional Ben Curtis are available from 1 to 2 p.m.

Putting your way around Kent with challenging mini courses, enjoy food and beverages along the way.

KENT STATE GOLDEN FLASHES

The Kent State men’s golf team finished their season at the Amherst Regional, placing 10^th at Poplar Grove Golf Club in Amherst, VA.

Kent posted a 283, just three-over-par, in the final 18-hole round to finish 17-over-par and in 10^th among the 13 teams at the Regional.

Jordan Gilkison earned medalist honors for the Golden Flashes as he fired a final one-under-par to finish in 14^th place individually.

The Regional concluded the outstanding season for Kent, winning their 29^th Mid-American Championship.
