The annual Katherine Rae Iarussi Foundation Golf Outing, which honors and benefits the KRI Foundation, welcomes golfers to the 15th annual event at Paradise Lake Golf Course in Suffield on May 16.

Registration is $540 per team and includes 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch at the pavilion, skins, beverages, dinner, prizes, 50/50 and basket raffle and a live auction.

Prepaid registration deadline is May 9.

Hole sponsorships ranging from $100 to $500 are available, as well as lunch/dinner sponsor for $1,000.

Donors for the basket raffles are also encouraged.

The KRI Foundation provides college scholarships as well as additional support for Rootstown Schools experiences for the students including field trips.

To register for the outing, become a sponsor or donate items for the basket raffle and/or auction, call Iarussi. Prepayment is also available by check or Venmo.

The outing is a wonderful way to honor the memory of Katie Rae Iarussi, while raising funds for educational opportunities and scholarships.

FAIRWAYS AT TWIN LAKES

The cabin at The Fairways at Twin Lakes is currently undergoing total outdoor repair and restoration. The course remains open for golf however seating at the bar inside is closed until sandblasting is completed.

Golfers may purchase canned and bottled beverages ad prepackaed snacks to take on the golf course.

“We are thankful for your patience and understanding as we continue to improve your golfing experience at The Fairways,” said Bryan Harvey, golf course manager.

PORTAGE SPORTS GOLF SCRAMBLE

Tom Nader, Portage Sports publisher, announced the third annual Portage Sports Golf Open scheduled for June 7 at Olde Dutch Mill Golf Course in Lake Milton.

The four-person scramble tees off with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

The popular scramble will announce Portage County athletes using their skllls in a variety of sports to help teams around the golf course. Watch for the announcement of athletes participating.

Registration is open and is $400 per team ($100 per person) and is limited to 32 four-person teams. Email Tom Nader at tomnader@portagesports.com.

Age Divisions for Boys and Girls: 16-19, 13-15 play 18-holes each day; Boys and Girls 12 and under play nine holes each day. Registration ages 13-19 $60, 12 and under $45. Deadline July 18. Each golfer receives a $10 gift certificate.

JULY 19—12^TH PORTAGE COUNTY KIDS AMATEUR. July 19 – Sunny Hill Golf Course, Brimfield (middle nine). Four separate age divisions for boys and girls: Grades 8-9, 6-7 (play nine holes) – $20; Grades 4-5 (play six holes) $20; Grades 3 and under (plays four holes) $15. Deadline July 16.
