Foursomes filled Olde Dutch Mill in Lake Milton for the Chubbs Peterson Memorial Golf Outing inspired by Happy Gilmore.

In addition go straight golf, competitors putt the ball with hockey sticks and hit drives as they run to the ball.

Many were dressed in costume representing golfers and characters from the popular Happy Gilmore movie, which was originally released in 1996 and was given a sequel released this year. Adam Sandler stars in both.

STILL MORE GOLF TO COME

Golfers might think things are winding down now that October has arrived.

However, the beautiful weather, along with outings scheduled by many golf courses, are giving golfers the opportunity to play well into fall.

Outings are scheduled at Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna and Olde Dutch Mill Golf Club in Lake Milton through October.
