Tabitha Schlupe of Stow is often found at the top of the leaderboard in several leagues at Spins Bowl in Kent.

Schlupe not only participates in leagues, but also competes in Professional Women’s Bowling Association tournaments, including the Ohio Queens, PWBA in North Carolina and PWBA in Myrtle Beach.

Still, two 300 games in 48 hours results in the ultimate week-to-remember. That marks 24 sanctioned perfect games for Schlupe.

She accomplished the games in the White’s Thursday Senior Trio and the White’s Senior Doubles League.

She finished her nights with two 700 series, 731 and 759.

PERFECT GAMES

While Schlupe was accomplishing her double perfect game during the week, there were several other games bowled that were near perfection or perfect.

Dan Schueller tossed a 299 game in the Garden Spot League on his way to a 751 series. Erin Jackson topped the women’s leaderboard in the same league, rolling a 279-733.

Rob Hartley led the Perfect Fit Trio League with a two-pins-shy-of-perfection 298 series.

One more near-miss was rolled by Rich Caniel in the Friday Match Play Trio. Caniel bowled a 299-789 to lead the league in both high game and series.

So was there another 300?

Yes, that was bowled by Rod Schaaf, who managed 12 straight strikes for a 300 high game in the Roofing Guy League.
