After a couple weeks without a perfect game, Jeremiah Grund accomplished the 12 strikes in a row in the Perfect Fit Trio League at Spins Bowl.

Kirsten Moore bested the women in the league, rolling a 269 high game.

Josh Flachbart rolled a 300 on his way to a 717 series in the Garden Spot League, but it was both the women and the men that shined in the league with high games and 700 series.

Alex Santiago rolled a 279-786, Bob Smolko a 289-746 and Mark Ruediger a 747. A total of 10 different 700 series were rolled by the men in the league.

The women were not to be left behind as Aleks Kiss rolled a 267-739, Bonny Bender a 252-703. Erin Jackson just missed her own 300 game, tossing a 299 and finishing with a 685 series.

The week before in the Garden Spot League, the high game was a tie among six bowlers. Doug French, Bob Szarka, Tommy Gallagher, Sean Short, Scott Besaw and Bradley Woodrum each rolled a 279 high game as Jeff Bardoun earned high series, a 793.

700’S THE NORM

In the Wednesday Fairway Ford/Daystar Ford/Hb Electric Men’s League, Jerry Apthorpe, Taz Moore and Dave Apthorpe all accomplished 700 series during the league.

Jerry Apthorpe almost scored the perfect game, 298-784; Taz Moore tossed a 276-721 and Dave Apthorpe joined the party with his 269-718 effort.

Spins Bowl found the 700 party in the Dale Hahn Custom Craft League as John Haynes fired a 289-715 and Nick Arlequeeuw rolled the high series, a 742 with a 279 high game.

The women in the league was led by Taylor Roberts 223-629.

In the Bill White’s Memorial Senior Trio, Bruce Prochaska also cracked the 700 mark by four pins.
