Over two weeks in the Sky Lanes Youth Leagues, Mason Hodson earned high game and series honors in straight weeks in the PeeWees, bowling a 90-165 and a 97-192.

Lily Stottlemire also was the best among the youngest group of youth, bowling 99-190 and 111-203 in consecutive weeks.

In the Saturday morning youth leagues, Jakob Zimmerman earned top honors both weeks with his best a 217-576 and Stella Janson led the league in both high series and high game, rolling a 212-596 as her best over 14 days.

SKY LANES ADULT LEAGUES

With New Year’s and New Year’s Eve falling in the middle of the week, there were some leagues that took a hiatus to celebrate with their families and friends.

But three leagues continued to bowl at Sky Lanes, including the Hermann’s Pickle Farm/Homesmart Realty/Daystar Ford Women’s League.

It was a good day for Jessica French, who rolled a 247 high game and a 652 high series to lead the league on Monday.

Amy Madonio also cracked the 200 mark, tossing a 213 game and Penny Shook bowled a 538 to for the second-best series.

Jolson French earned high-game honors by two pins in the B&B Music/Daystar Ford Mixed League. French rolled a 259 and Chris Dietz a 257, however, Dietz earned the high series, a 704 to French’s 688. Doug French and Sydney Coburn weren’t too far behind as they rolled 242-656 and 255-576, respectively.

Bozena French led the women, tossing a 197-534.

The final league to bowl during New Year’s was the Thursday Springseal/Walcraft Construction Mixed League.

Mark Knapp bowled a 558 high series and Steve Barbour the high game of 210. For the women, Vivian Linamen bowled a 184 high game and Marsha Roth the high series of 468.

Leagues should be back to their regular schedule beginning today.
