BOWL WITH SANTA

This Tuesday, Spins Bowl in Kent is inviting everyone, youth and adults alike, to bowl with Santa from 6 to 8 p.m.

Cost is $30 per person and includes two hours of bowling, two slices of cheese pizza, a 20-ounce lemonade and a shoe rental.

Everyone also receives a gift from Santa.

SKY LANES YOUTH

Thomas Calvalcanti led the Saturday morning youth league at Sky Lanes, rolling a 185 high game. Calvalcanti shared league honors with Cyrus Janson who earned high series, a 496 for the boys. The girls best was tossed by Stella Janson, 177-471.

In the PeeWee league, Mason Hodson rolled a 129-232 to land at the top of the standings.

SKY LANES ADULTS

Greg Daugherty rolled the high game of the week, a 268 in the Wednesday Fairway Ford/Daystar Ford/HB Electric Men’s league, finishing his three game set with a 698 series. Merry Apthorpe topped out a second place, rolling a 249-649.

Billy Potteiger led his league, the Thursday Springseal/Walcraft Construction Mixed, tossing a 250-664.

Doug French rolled a 258 high game in the B&B Music/DayStar Ford Mixed on Friday night as Bill Coburn earned high series, a 663 and Shelly Moore led the women, bowling a 196-532.

NEW YEARS EVEN AT THE BOWLING LANES

Looking for options for family and friends to enjoy New Year’s Eve?

Spins Bowl in Kent has three different options:

Noon to 3 p.m. or 4 to 6 p.m.: Families can rent a lane with up to six bowlers on the lane and enjoy unlimited bowling and shoe rental, a large cheese pizza and a pitcher of soda per lane with free refills. Each bowler also receives a 20 credit arcade card. Rental is $100 per lane.

8 to 11 p.m.: The third New Year’s Eve party at Spins Bowl includes six bowlers per lane, unlimited cosmic bowling, shoe rental, special prize drawings and a 20 credit arcade card per bowler. Cost is $40 with a minimum of four people on a lane.

Call Spins Bowl to reserve a spot in any one of the three New Year’s Eve parties.
