Jeremy Knight of Streetsboro, bowling in the Perfect Fit Trio League at Spins Bowl, fired his first 300 game on his way to a 1,067 series.

Knight has often been spotted on the pages of Portage Sports for his golf game, but having recently taken up bowling, the chance at perfection was welcome.

He bested Bradley Stevens, who tossed a 279-953.

Leading the women was Kirsten Moore, having her own solid night, bowling a 246-875.

Stevens was the best among the bowlers in the Garden Spot/JBL Roofing League at Spins Bowl — just missing his own 300 game by 10 pins (270) and finishing with a 796 series.

Erin Jackson had the high game, 268 and Kirsten Moore a 672 high series in the same league.

BEST AT SKY LANES

Vince Fortney rolled a 289-761 in the Ellerhorst-Russell Insurance League at Sky Lanes, among the high games-series for the week.

Doug French and Jolson French had the high games in the B&B Music League, a 255 and 245, respectively.

YOUTH BOWLERS OF THE WEEK

At Sky Lanes, Mason Hodson was the best among the youngest bowlers in the PeeWee League, rolling a 118 high game and a 201 series for the boys and Scarlett Landals rolling an 88 high game for the girls.

The youth that gathered on Saturday morning were led by Cyrus Janson 226-548 and Stella Janson 170-463.

At Spins Bowl, Ayden Macharoni was the best in the Adult-Youth Doubles League among the boys. Ayden rolled a 168-462.

Theo Aken tossed a 91-181 to lead the bowlers in the bumper league.

It was Dominic Madden tossing a 212-564 in the junior league bowling on Saturday morning and Colden Prater 212-565 and Joy Justice 245-654 as the best in the High School Match Play League.
