The evening was filled with families from northern Ohio supporting the organization, while enjoying three hours of bowling, awards and great food.

Mark Sierak of Hudson, regional impact officer for FOH, welcomed everyone to the lanes and thanked them for their support of the event.

While Folds of Honor is closely associated with golf events throughout the country to raise scholarship monies for families of wounded and fallen military members and first responders, this was the first bowling event for the Northern Ohio Folds of Honor, offered Katie Maniculea, of Rootstown, a director on the Young Professional Board of Directors.

Flags adorned each of the scoring consoles and sponsors helped make the event a success.

Dinner was catered by Laziza and Mamacita’s of Kent.

The success of the event helps continue the impact the Folds of Ohio Northern Ohio has on families of military and first responders. In 2023-24, the organization presented 79 educational scholarships offering more than $500,000 in educational support.

Next local event for the Northern Ohio FOH is the 7th annual Barrington Golf Tournament and Barrington Golf Club in Aurora on July 28-29.
