Tee times for 12th Portage County Kids Amateur Golf Tournament

The 12th Portage County Kids Am tees off at Sunny Hill Golf Course in Brimfield on Sunday, with 30 kids going into grades 3rd through 9th competing over nine holes.
The Kids Am has become a staple on the Portage County Amateurs calendar, giving many youth golfers their first opportunity to play in tournaments or hone their skills as they enter middle school and high school to play on teams that begin competition in August.
All youth play the popular middle nine at Sunny Hill beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday, with the youngest playing four holes continuing to the oldest playing nine holes.
High-school golfers from Kent Roosevelt’s successful varsity team help the youth and parents are encouraged to rent carts or walk and follow the golfers.
