Southeast High School senior Eddie Hunt finished his career with 1,174 points, which ranks him fourth in school history and tied for 37th in Portage County history (alongside Windham’s Carlos Bruton).
Hunt topped the 1,000-point mark as a senior during a victory at home over arch-rival Rootstown. He scored a career-high 46 points in the game, which at the time, gave him 1,001 career points, leading the Pirates to a dominating 101-69 victory.
Hunt made eight 3-pointers in the game and scored 33 points by halftime.
