The win for the Ravens was the program’s first league victory since 2017.

Ravenna scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to go from trailing 2-1 to leading 3-2, then pitcher Madison Artz closed it out with a clean seventh inning.

Artz delivered a complete game. She scattered eight hits and struck out five.

Shyanna Dillbeck and Angelina Fuller each drove in a run for the Ravens, while Whitney Holmes, Morgan Decker and Hanna Reed all scored for Ravenna.

Ravenna is now 2-9 overall and 1-6 in the Metro Athletic Conference, while Streetsboro is 1-8 and 1-5, respectively.

The G-Men erupted offensively, scoring multiple runs in the second, third and fourth innings to break open a large lead on Tuesday in Garrettsville.

Jackson Sommer drove in four runs, Brandyn Bogucki and Carter Bates scored three runs each, while Vinnie Grandizio, Ian Hunt and Bogucki each had two RBI.

On the mound, Aiden Hill pitched four innings, allowing just two runs on two hits and he struck out six. Leo Grandizio pitched the fifth inning and struck out the side.

Falcons senior lefty Caleb Gartner delivered a complete game four-hitter to lead a Metro Athletic Conference victory over the host Rockets.

Gartner struck out nine and walked three in a masterful performance.

The Falcons scored three runs in the top of the second inning to take the lead, the Rockets answered back with a run in the third inning and Field then added an insurance run in the top of the fourth inning to complete the scoring.

Kayden Smith was the only Field player with multiple hits, with Garit Greene, Logan Lonzrick and Carter Little each drove in a run. Grady Eader scored a pair of runs for the  Falcons.
