WINDHAM 67, CHAMPION 51

Bombers senior Chase Eye scored 25 points to highlight a double-digit home triumph for the Bombers over the Flashes.

Eye hit for nine field goals total, including four 3-pointers.

Carlos Bruton joined him in double figures, scoring 14 points for the Bombers, who survived shooting just 8-of-27 from the free-throw line in the game.

Brett Channell was the Flashes’ leading scorer with 21 points.

Windham’s offense got going early and outscored Champion 17-7 in the first quarter.

The Bombers outscored the Flashes again in the second quarter and also in the fourth quarter to close out the game.

 

SOUTH RANGE 45, SOUTHEAST 38

The South Range offense came alive in the fourth quarter to pull away and grab a non-league victory over the visiting Pirates on Friday.

South Range scored 19 points in the final eight minutes after scoring only 13 points in the second and third quarters combined.

Meanwhile, Southeast managed just nine fourth-quarter points after taking a 29-26 lead into the final quarter.

Garrett Sprutte led the Pirates in scoring with 13 points, while South Range was led by Landon Moore’s 16 points.
