Goalkeepers: Ruby Price, Olivia Zicari, Camille Arana.

Led by experienced players like Audrey and supported by eager newcomers, they’re ready to challenge defenses and make a big impact this season.
Midfielders: Hannah Hido, Gianna Yanelli, Molly Murphy.
“We are excited to return a versatile and skilled midfield anchored by Hannah and Gianna, who bring leadership, vision and composure. Their ability to control the tempo of the game and make smart decisions under pressure will be key to our success. Molly adds strong technical skills and relentless work rate, covering a lot of ground for us. Alongside them, younger players are stepping up with energy and enthusiasm, giving us valuable depth and flexibility. This group will play a crucial role in supporting both our defense and forwards.
Defenders: Abby Booher.
“With great leadership from Abby, our defense will continue to stay organized and disciplined. She sets the tone in the back line with her strong communication and calm presence. With a mix of experienced players and energetic younger teammates, their ability to win the ball, maintain possession and support the midfield will be key in helping the entire team control the pace and flow of the game.
Goalkeepers: Grace Schoenberger.
“Grace has grown in confidence and skill. She communicates well to not only keep the defense organized but the rest of the team. Her ability to stay calm under pressure makes her a reliable presence in goal. As she continues to build upon her experience, we’re excited to see her take on a bigger leadership role.
Underclassmen to Watch: Grace Schoenberger, Maggie Pazderak, Sophia Richards, Carleigh Wiler, fr.
General Outlook: “We are hopeful that this upcoming season is shaping up to be an exciting yet competitive one. With a high-level schedule ahead, each match will be a valuable opportunity for the team to test its ability and grow stronger. Ultimately, we look forward to learning, improving and enjoying the journey together.”

Forwards: Amelia Brooks, Josie App, fr.
“Amelia is deceptively quick and has really grown skill-wise,” Opritza said. “Josie is speedy and plucky.”
Midfielders: Emma Nelson, Haley Dick, Abby Frick, fr.
“Emma has earned her starting role by knowing how to read a field, win a ball and support her teammates.
“Haley is my feistiest midfielder, always looking to win back a ball, help her team or have a strike when she has a chance.
“Abby has a full skill set and a physical presence.
Defenders: Cloe Bengtson, Elliott Smallfield.
“Cloe is arguably among the best defenders I have seen let alone had the privilege to coach. She was an All-State selection last season and looks ready to earn another.
“Elliott can play all areas of the field but has a defensive strength that works well with Chloe.
Goalkeepers: Addison Pownall.
“Addison earned the spot last season and is poised for another solid season. Our team only allowed 13 goals during the regular season last year thanks to her and Cloe.
Underclassmen to Watch: Cheyenne Cutright, fr.; Paisley Day, fr.; Charlie Wilson, fr.; Samantha Smolk, fr.
“Cheyenne is a speedy, hard-nosed, skilled defender from whom I expect great things.
“Paisley has speed and quickness to spare.
“Charlie has been a goalkeeper so far in her playing career and is making the transition to field play rather quickly.
“Samantha can play any position on the field with vision and skill.
General Outlook: “We are in a brand new [to us] conference [Chagrin Valley] this season with some heavy hitters on our schedule. I expect a lot of growth over a full season, and we have a solid chance to surprise a lot of people.”

“Sarah will start our offense and then join the attack. She scored a dozen goals last year.
Defenders: Bailey Morris, Leah Mesaros.
“Bailey and Leah will be solid on defense.
Goalkeepers: Cali McPeak.
“Cali is in her first year.”
General Outlook: “We have a lot of starting spots to fill this year. The girls are getting better each day.”
Head coach: Ryan Willard, 19th year overall, 18th at Streetsboro, 147-134-22 career record.
Coaching Staff: Alyssa Hendrix, Taylor Donovan, McKenzie Mobley.
2024 Record: 13-4-1 overall.
Returning Letterwinners (16): Katie Robinson, sr.; Zoie Dunn, sr.; Tea Nagle, sr.; Addison Mrakovich, sr.; Kendall Epple, sr.; Morgan Novak, jr.; Olivia Knepper, jr.; Olivia Willard, jr.; Carman Marcini, jr.; Jenna Fall, jr.; Emma McDonough, jr.; Lyra Sadowski, jr.; Sara Koyan, jr.; Audrina Russo, jr.; Kaylee Roberts, jr.; Morgan Vales, jr.
Letterwinners Lost (5): Makayla Claflin, Madelyn Genovese, Lydia Schofield, Grace Thomson, Allison Hehmeyer.
Forwards: Sara Koyan; Olivia Knepper; Jenna Fall; Kendall Epple; Cara Thomson, so.
“Sara is able to win with her speed and off the dribble, while Olivia just needs a small space to get off her incredibly accurate shot. Both scored nine goals last season,” said Willard.
“I expect Jenna, who played mostly wingback last year, Cara and Kendall to contribute to what will be a very athletic unit.
Midfielders: Addison Mrakovich; Olivia Willard; Kaylee Roberts; Katie Robinson; Rachel Schofield, so.
“Addison is one of the most versatile players in school history. She’s been our team MVP two
years in a row because I can move her around to whatever position and she does a great job.
“Olivia was our leading scorer with 13 goals a year ago, but she might be a better passer than scorer.
“Kaylee played mostly in a defensive mid role last year. She is not afraid of the physicality, and she just continues to get better on the attacking end.
“We’ll also get contributions from Katie and Rachel.
Defenders: Zoie Dunn; Tea Nagle; Carman Marcini; Morgan Vales; Lyra Sadowski; Meredith Mattmuller, sr.; Jazlynn Crudup, so.
“Zoie, Tea and Carman have all started together for two years. Zoie brings a toughness to the group, and her ability to read the play and take the right angles to make a tackle are impressive. Tea brings a veteran presence and also versatility to the group. She feels comfortable moving forward and might end up getting time in the midfield too. Carman is just one of the best athletes in the conference [Metro Athletic]. Her speed to chase things down from behind or clean up things when we make a mistake always stand out.
“Meredith brings more experience in an outside defender role. Lyra and Morgan started some
games for us a year ago and are ready to take on full-time roles now. Jazlynn is going to provide great depth. We won’t see much, if any, drop-off with any of these girls on the field.
Goalkeepers: Morgan Novak, Emma McDonough.
“Morgan and Emma split time in goal a year ago, and I expect it to be the same this year. Both got great experiences a year ago and are ready to lead our team from the back.
Underclassmen to Watch: McKenzie Montgomery, fr.; Ava Sullivan, fr.
General Outlook: “It is always hard to lose players like Lydia Schofield, Madelyn Genovese and Grace Thomson. However, we are fortunate to have a lot of players who I feel are ready to take the next step to contribute at the varsity level. It should be one of the deepest teams Streetsboro has had. I expect us to be competitive in the conference again.”
Head Coach: Bill Jackson, 4th year, 40-12-4 career record.
Coaching Staff: Mackenzie Webb, Shannon More.
2024 Record: 12-4-2 overall.
Returning Letterwinners (13): Chloe Guth, sr.; Bayley English, sr.; Makayla Yarian, sr.; Taylor Kunka, jr.; Skyler Baldwin, jr.; Julia Boyle, jr.; Helaina Beamer, so.; Alexis Henry, so.; Kate England, so.; Molly Wiles, so.; Johanna King, so.; Koralee Jenior, so.; Abagail Roberts, so.
Letterwinners Lost (4): Carletta Henry, Courtney Eisenbraun, Sophia Wood, Mya Bennett.
Forwards: Johanna King, Alexis Henry, Koralee Jenior, Julia Boyle.
“Alexis enters her second season as a returning all-district player,” Jackson said. “She has game-changing speed and has great game awareness, which allows her to get into scoring positions. She has worked very hard to develop her skills to be more than a scorer; she is going to look to be a playmaker on both ends of the pitch.
“Koralee was a Second-Team All-District player a year ago. The work she has put in this off-season is shining through in the preseason. She has developed her game, and we expect to see her really advance this season. Her passing and shooting make her a dual threat on our offense, but it’s her strength on the ball that sets her apart.
Midfielders: Bayley English, Chloe Guth, Makayla Yarian, Kate England, Jewell Janda, Taylor Kunka.
“Bayley will be a four-year starter and three-year captain. Her field vision and ability to win the ball make her one of the best midfielders in the state. She is a leader, a coach on the field and she keeps everyone on the field calm with her ability to control the ball. She makes our team go.
Defenders: Skyler Baldwin, Molly Wiles, Willow King, Helaina Beamer, Kyleigh Smith.
Goalkeepers: Abaigail Roberts, Bri Fox.
Underclassmen to Watch: Jewel Janda, fr.
General Outlook: “We will be a young team with the potential to develop throughout the season. Our schedule will offer strong competition, and our conference [Mahoning Valley Athletic] will be very competitive again. The keys to our success will be our ability to quickly grow and maintain our health.”
