The 2025 Portage Sports High School Girls Basketball Preview Night was hosted at Waterloo High School on Thursday.

The event featured 12 teams playing two quarters as a featured showcase ahead of the official start of the 2025-2026 regular season.

The schedule of games included:

• Waterloo vs. Windham
• Southeast vs. Crestwood
• Kent Roosevelt vs. Norton
• Aurora vs. Streetsboro
• Field vs. Garfield
• Mogadore vs. Ravenna

Portage Sports would like to publicly thank you to the administration and staff at Waterloo, notably athletic director Keri Dennison, for helping coordinate and host the event. Additionally, thank you to the group of volunteers who were part of the event: Denny and Ruth Pickens, Jack Hugg, Kyle Barkhurst, Tom and Julie Nader and Kyle Nader.
