The Women’s Tri-County Basketball Coaches Association hosted its annual high school girls basketball All-Star Game on Monday at Norton High School.

The Portage All-Stars defeated the Summit All-Stars by a final score of 68-56.

The two teams battled relatively even throughout the entire game, but it was the second quarter that the Portage stars took control of the game, winning the quarter 20-9.

Three players reached double figures for the Portage All-Stars, with Streetsboro’s Madelyn Hajec and Woodridge’s Cam Hoover leading the way with 11 points each. Kent Roosevelt’s Zariyah Taylor added 10 points for the Portage team.

The Summit stars were led in scoring by Revere’s Hailey Jake and Manchester’s MacKenzie Westfall, who both scored nine points each.
