Portage Sports hosted ten football players and seven cheerleaders on Wednesday for a photoshoot at Quail Hollow State Park in Hartville as part of the production of the 2023 Portage Sports High School Football Preview magazine.

While Portage Sports is primarily a digital platform, the Football Preview will be a PRINT EDITION (preorder information will be below)!

It will be a full-color magazine publication that is expected to be no smaller than 40 pages and will feature a team preview, photo, roster and schedule for Aurora, Crestwood, Field, Garfield, Kent Roosevelt, Mogadore, Ravenna, Rootstown, Southeast, Streetsboro, Waterloo and Windham.

In addition to the team previews, the magazine will include some additional content as well, including some historical statistics.

Shannon Eldreth from Eldreth Photography was the photographer that coordinated all of the photos from Wednesday’s photoshoot. She is a dedicated, creative and passionate photographer and works great with student-athletes.

The main football photo selected from the photoshoot will become the cover of the High School Football Preview magazine, while the cheerleader photo will be featured inside the magazine as well.

The football players that attended the photoshoot included: Crestwood’s Gavin McIntyre, Field’s Will Nienhius, Garfield’s Keegan Sell, Kent Roosevelt’s Lincoln Wade, Mogadore’s Zeke Cameron, Ravenna’s Daniel Sanders, Rootstown’s Tony Karp, Southeast’s Case Myers, Waterloo’s Bobby Harouff and Windham’s Anthony Paolella.

The cheerleaders that attended the photoshoot included: Field’s Leah Krieger, Garfield’s Lille Shackelford, Mogadore’s Kenzington Miller, Rootstown’s Abigail Plona, Southeast’s Kimmy Nelder, Streetsboro’s Liv Hall and Waterloo’s Kylie Duvall.
