For some of Portage County’s teams, Week 4 introduces league play.

For those programs, the quest for a league championship begins tonight.

I will be in Kent for the Rough Riders’ Suburban League opener against Cuyahoga Falls.

It will be a beautiful night for football.

Maybe the first “fall” night.

At kickoff, the temperature will be in the mid-60’s, with no rain.

By the fourth quarter, the temperature will drop to about 60 degrees and still no rain.
