Friday night’s Week 4 action welcomes in league play.

For Cuyahoga Falls, Kent Roosevelt and Tallmadge, it is their official entry into the Metro Athletic Conference.

The Tigers travel to Cloverleaf, the Rough Riders go on the road to square off against the Blue Devils.

The only team playing outside of league play on Friday will be the Mogadore Wildcats, who are playing as an independent this season before joining the Greater Portage Athletic Conference in 2027.

The Garfield G-Men are the only remaining unbeaten Portage County team.

It won’t be as warm as the start of the season, but far from how cold it will probably be in as little as just a couple of weeks.

I guess you could consider Friday night to be a Goldilocks night.

Just right.

At kickoff, temperatures are expected to be in the mid to low 70s, then dropping to only the mid 60s by the second half.

And no rain is expected.
