With the high school bowling just getting started, preseason tournaments are leading off conference schedules.
Both the Metro Athletic Conference and the Suburban League held their preseason tournaments on Saturday.
At the Suburban event, the Wadsworth boys and girls swept the titles, while the Norton girls and Woodridge boys topped the leaderboards at the MAC event.
The Suburban League started its season at Kent Lanes, with Kent Roosevelt serving as the preseason tourney’s host.
Roosevelt earned sixth place for the boys and 12th for the girls.
The boys team was led Eli Logsdon’s 199-567 for series and Colden Prater’s 216 high game.
Desiree Holliday rolled a 382 high series with a 148 high game for the Riders.
The Ravenna boys earned second place in the MAC preseason tournament, bowling 2,477 total pins, with Jose Carpenter making the All-Tournament Team rolling a 603 series.
