The Field boys topped the Rovers at Kent Lanes by 237 pins in a display of outstanding games and series by both teams.
Both Joey Dilwarth and Kalel Holmes rolled 244s to capture high game with Holmes continuing to a 446 to earn the high series in the match.
But the Rovers were close behind the top of the leaderboard for individuals as Caleb Stevens rolled a 237 and finished with a 450 series.
Field’s Peyton Hover had his own outstanding outing with games of 239-200 for a 439 series.
Field finished with a 2,578 as the Rovers rolled a final 2,341.
Kent Roosevelt traveled to Charger Lanes in Norton to take on the Barberton Magics and easily picked up a win in the Suburban Conference match.
Kent scored 2,160 to Barberton’s 1,284.
The Rough Riders were led by Bernie Rosenberg’s 199 high game and 374 high series followed by Eli Logson’s 195-351.
The visiting Rovers’ Olivia Davies earned high game and series with her 192-324 at Kent Lanes to help push Rootstown over Field.
The Rovers 2,157 total included team Baker games of 200-191 and 199.
Field’s best was tossed by Makayla Doak, 193-335.
