This is an important week for bowlers as qualifiers to the Division II district tournaments will bowl for the opportunity to advance to the state tournament.

Southeast’s Abby Smith is the only Portage County senior that qualified for the Division II district tournament.

Portage County is well represented at the Division II district tournaments.

Three teams will bowl at Rebman Recreation in Lorain, the Rootstown boys on Friday and the Rootstown girls and Garfield girls on Saturday.

Individuals advancing to District in Division II include Alannah Raffa of Ravenna, Joey Dilworth of Field, Abby Smith of Southeast, Jacob Stefansic of Ravenna and Daniel Mcle of Garfield.

Of the individuals advancing, Smith of Southeast is the lone senior.
