BERKSHIRE 42, CRESTWOOD 8

The Badgers used an impressive 29-point second quarter to pull away from Crestwood on Friday night, and the Red Devils could never recover.

Berkshire had gained a 6-0 lead after the first quarter, but the second-quarter eruption allowed the Badgers to secure a comfortable 35-8 halftime advantage.

Miles Miller did a little bit of everything for the Badgers, rushing for three touchdowns and throwing for another two. He finished the game with 88 yards rushing and 115 yards passing.

Crestwood managed just 111 yards of total offense and were 2-of-12 converting on third down.

The Devils also turned the ball over twice.

The loss dropped Crestwood to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in Chagrin Valley Conference play. Berkshire, meanwhile, won its fourth straight game and improved to 4-2 and 2-0 in the CVC.

Next up for Crestwood is Wickliffe (1-5), which lost to Lutheran West on Friday (59-6).
