Crestwood’s 26-7 road victory on Friday had Nate Blasiole’s fingerprints all over it.
Well, maybe it would be more accurate to say that his footprints were all over it.
The junior standout rushed for 265 yards and scored all four of the Red Devils’ touchdowns in the win over the Blue Devils.
Blasiole’s season has been superb. He now has rushed for 799 yards and 14 touchdowns, while leading the Red Devils to a 3-1 start and the team’s third straight win.
Blasiole scored his first two touchdowns in the first quarter, helping build a 14-0 lead for Crestwood. He scored from 7 yards out, then again on a 62-yard burst.
Wickliffe scored its lone touchdown in the second quarter to push the score to 14-7 at halftime.
The Red Devils scored a touchdown in each of the third and fourth quarters, on runs of 5 yards and 58 yards, respectively.
Blasiole also had 27 hards receiving and accounted for 92 percent of the Red Devils total offense.
Crestwood’s 3-1 start is the program’s best start since starting 4-0 in 2019.
