The Aurora Greenmen raced out to a 14-0 lead after the first quarter and pushed the advantage out to 28-7 at one point in the second quarter.

The result was a 42-23 victory over the host Twinsburg Tigers on Friday.

The Greenmen (2-1) ran for 320 yards as a team, with Alex Tenorio leading the way with 157 yards on 23 attempts. Quarterback Matt Geier helped out on the ground for the Greenmen, too, with 100 yards on 14 carries.

Tenorio got Aurora on the board first with a first-quarter touchdown from 3 yards out, which was followed by Mate Orgovan score from the 4-yard line.

The offense kept moving for Aurora, with a third touchdown that lifted the score to 21-0 after the extra point, on a 22-yard pass from Geier to Jayce Unverferth.

Twinsburg never got to within two scores of Aurora in the game.
