The Aurora Greenmen received a superb effort through the air by quarterback Brandon Liepins and another one from on the ground from running back Alex Tenorio to highlight a 42-7 victory over Revere on Friday.

Liepins completed 18-of-24 passes for 279 yards and connected with five different receivers, with Sam Retton (65 yards) and Zach Nemet (66 yards) each hauling in five passes.

On the ground, Tenorio ripped off runs for a first down, by average, on every run. He finished with 158 yards on just 15 carries, and he scored four touchdowns.

Tenorio’s scores came on runs of 1, 23, 8 and 36 yards.

Liepins threw a pair of scores, with the first coming to Retton from 33 yards in the first quarter, then the other was a second-quarter toss to Dylan Crasi for 20 yards.

Aurora established a commanding 27-0 lead before halftime.

The Greenmen finished the regular season at 7-3 overall and were 5-2 in the Suburban League.

Week 11 awaits Aurora, which clinched a playoff spot. The Greenmen are tentatively sitting at the No. 10 spot, but that could change depending on results on Saturday.
