Brooklyn Millard of Aurora, James Morgan of North Benton and Andrew VanDamme of Kent each carded the best Portage County scores in their age divisions at the Northern Ohio PGA Junior Series hosted by Windmill Lakes Golf Course in Ravenna.

Millard took home the runner-up spot among a talented field of girls of the 36 hole tournament. Millard shot 74-74 148, which was good for second place with the 8-over-par score.

VanDamme won the boys 11-13 age division, carding 78-88 (166).

Morgan, following an outstanding tournament at the Good Park Junior Golf tournament, fired back-to-back 76s, good for a top-20 finish in 14th place.

Rounding out the best Portage County golfers in the tournament, Max Thirion of Ravenna finished 18th, with a final 152 18-hole score.

Junior golfers are working their way towards the Kenny Novak Tour Championship to be held at Walden Golf Club in Aurora on July 30-31.
