ACE

RANDY WILBURN

Randy Wilburn, a frequent competitor in the Portage County Amateurs and always near the top of the tournaments, scored an ace on the 12th hole at Windmill Lakes Golf Course in Ravenna.

Windmill used his 5-hybrid to send the golf ball 180 yards to the cup on the Par 3 back-nine green.

Wilburn finished his round with an outstanding 74 that included three birdies.

Playing with Wilburn, and witnessing the ace, were Paul Woodard, Tony Merich and Dave Kukasky.
