KEEPING IT CLOSE

Kelly Stebner and Kim Stull tied for high game in the Mike’s Gal’s League, each rolling a 203. Stebner continued with her solid bowling to finish with a 559 high series, but Sue Motti sneaked in the top two, bowling a 516 high series with her 181 high game of three.

GARDEN SPOT

The outstanding bowlers in the Garden Spot League rolled high games between 259 (Michael Pope) and 300 (Taz Moore). There were 11 bowlers all within 41 pins of each other for high game, including David Randazzo 279, Gary Kline 278 and Dan Schueller 278.

Taz Moore grabbed high series, 796, with Jolson French (759) and Josh Flachbart (746) rounding out the top-three series.

There were eight 700 series in the league among the men bowlers.

For the women, Aleks Kiss rolled a 243 high game and Bonny Bender, a 660 series with a 232 high game. Erin Jackson (649) and Teri Plaso 224-646 were among the top-three bowlers for the night.

HIGHLIGHTS ACROSS THE LEAGUES

Nick Arlequeeuw tossed a 268 high game and Dustin Ware a 728 series with a 258 high game in the Dale Hahn Custom Crafts League. Tabitha Schlupe earned high game and series for the women, a 269 on her way to a 733 series.

Bill White’s Trio continues to spotlight high scores and games, including Kevin Basom’s 639 series and Fred Endres’ 631 series. Dave Senerchia earned high game for the men.

Schlupe was again at the top of the high game for the Trio, bowling a 681 series and secretary Corky Farquhar rolled the high game for the women, a 179.

Schlupe made the top of one additional league when she rolled a 641 series in the Elks and Friends League with a 224 game. Jennie Kiss topped the high-game leaderboard (234) and picked up second high series (619).

Dave Lann rolled a 736, good enough for high series by nine pins over Sully Shaheed (727), who also tossed the high game (278).

MIDSEASON FORM

Bowlers are already in midseason form as they return for Fall leagues to Spins Bowl in Kent. The Garden Spot league, always boasting high games and series, has already had three 300 games this season.

Joe Swanson, Taz Moore and David Randazzo each rolled 300 games in the Wednesday Night League. Randazzo and Moore remained consistent during the night of bowling as Randazzo owned an 844 series and Moore ended his three-game set with a 796.
