The Portage County USBC is hosting the Handicap Singles Tournament at Spins Bowl in Kent on Jan. 26. The tournament begins at 10 a.m.

Entry forms are available at all Portage County bowling lanes or may be downloaded or copied on the Portage County USBC’s Facebook page.

THE BEST AROUND THE LANES THIS WEEK

ELKS AND FRIENDS

Andy Day, bowling in the Elks and Friends League, rolled a 726 series with a high game of 256. He was one of three 700 series in the league, including Corey Daniels 721 and Shaun Bennett 720 for the men.

Erin Mellinger led the women’s high game, 259, and Laura Elwood tossed a 626 high series with a 256 game.

PERFECT FIT TRIO

Jason Price tossed a 300 game in the Perfect Fit Trio League on his way to a 966 series. David Randazzo earned high series 1,036. Jen Pope was the best for the women, 220-759.

SPECIAL NEEDS

Logan Cox found the place he likes the best, the top of the leaderboard, in the Special Needs League. Cox bowled a 232-385 to earn high-series and high-game honors over Michael McFarland (200-365).

Maranda Ailes was the best among the women 190-355.
