The Streetsboro Middle School girls cross country team captured the Metro Athletic Conference championship on Thursday at Silver Creek Metro Park.
The Rockets scored 37 points, which bested runners-up Field (53 points).
Streetsboro was paced by the first-place finish of Sunnia McKenzie in a time of 14:25.
McKenize’s individual championship time was followed up by a seventh-place finish by Diana Rivera Colla (15:04) and eighth-place finish by Kaelyn Malloy (15:11).
Also finishing in the top 10 for the Rockets was Addison LaGuardia, who placed 10th in 15:18.
Morgan Vales was 11th in 15:21, Allison haber was 21st in 16:14 and Abigail Hoffman was 28th in 17:02 for the Rockets.
