THE HISTORY

Larry Bailey has coached the Rootstown High School cross country and track for 40 years. He has coached 100 state qualifiers, 33 All-Ohioans, four state champions, eight state runners-up. He has won 210 dual track meets and 478 dual cross country meets. He has run 53,000 miles in his career — many of those alongside his student-athletes, which has given hundreds of people the opportunity to say, “I Ran With Coach Bailey.”
