The 1999 Field High School boys track and field 4×800 relay team won the OHSAA’s Division II state championship, as well as winning the Portage County League title.

The relay team featured Charlie Walker, Mike Hall, Mike Shriner and Nate Hutchison. The quartet finished the race in 7:57.81 to best the runner-up time of 7:58.08 turned in by VanWert.
