Happy Birthday, Portage Sports!

Tuesday marks one year from our official launch day of Aug. 1, 2022.

The last 365 days have been incredible, and I want to personally thank all of you for the continued support, which was felt from that very first day in August.

Amazingly, the support continues to grow and it continues to be appreciated.

THANK YOU!

Over the last year, a lot of stories have been crafted and coverage has saturated to all parts of Portage County — all of, including you, turned a concept into a reality.

We have been blessed to partner with loyal advertisers, including the Charles Auto Family, Portage Community Bank, Bonsky Heating and Cooling, John Davison and State Farm Insurance, the Brimfield Insurance Group, Ganley Chevrolet of Aurora, Darrah’s All-Star Academy, Ashland University, Portage Tile, Scrub MD Soap and our newest supporter RE/MAX Diversity, with a project you will see more about in the near future.

I don’t plan to publicly celebrate each future Portage Sports birthday, but there is something about this first one that feels special enough to me to spend some time on it.

My hope is that you have enjoyed the coverage, stories, social-media posts, and more. My hope is that Portage Sports has provided you with enjoyable content that you find value in.
