The Field Falcons won the 1998 Portage County League championship, with junior pitcher Lisa Betts leading the way as the league’s Player of the Year.

The Falcons totaled three players on the All-PCL First Team, with Ashley Ball and Beth Wright joining Betts.

Head coach Ray Dickerhoof was named the PCL’s Coach of the Year.
