The first athletic event inside the new Kent Roosevelt High School gymnasium did not disappoint.
The Rough Riders’ varsity volleyball team captured a thrilling five-game triumph over Barberton by final scores of 18-25, 25-19, 16-25, 25-13, 15-13.
Kent Roosevelt High School athletic director shared some images from the historic night, including a ribbon-cutting photo.
In the JV game, the Rough Riders were also victorious.
