Andel has graduated and is now part of Kent State University’s wrestling program.
Sell returns after just completing a record-setting season and career on the football field for the G-Men.
Sell is one of seven returning lettermen, giving the G-Men plenty of experience throughout their lineup this season.
“He is an all-around athlete and contender for anther state title,” Andel said.
Additionally, Garfield has 12 incoming freshmen that will boost the lineup and work in the practice room.
“Most of the freshmen have wrestled through our youth program and are now finally at the high-school level.”
Overall, Andel points to healthy numbers for the program.
Deacon Sommer and Vince D’Amico are two more experienced wrestlers for the G-Men.
“They strengthen our lineup. Vince is a returning district qualifier and if all goes well, we will see him wrestling in Columbus in the postseason.”
Luke Kauffman, Logan Sell, Landon Andel.
“They will add to the depth of our roster. All three have proven to be very competitive wrestlers, placing at both the state and national tournaments throughout their youth careers. High school will be an adjustment, but I am confident they will continue to excel.”
