THE COACH

Eric Kline

3rd year

THE TEAM

Coaching Staff: Shawn Bonfine, Maddison Davis, Brad Hager, Jeremiah Sanders, Michael Prikryl Jr., Shane Michael, Darshaun Sanders, Michael Prikryl, Sr.

2023-24 Record: 5-11 dual record.

Returning Lettermen (6): Jayden Pudder, Deangelo Williams, Bradley Davis, Ryder Denning, Andrew Mladek, Carter Prisby.

Lettermen Lost (2): David Davis, Tyler Dohm.

SEASON OUTLOOK

In his third year, Eric Kline’s youth movement and investment into the youth program will begin to take shape at the high-school level this year.

With that, though, the Ravens will be young.

“We have been building this program through our youth and middle school the last couple of years, so we will be starting a lot of freshmen and sophomores.”

Success can follow if the team can stay healthy.

“It’s a long season. We just be very physical and tough, while we continue to change our entire program’s culture to become a championship caliber program year in and year out.”

LIGHTWEIGHTS

The group of  Brandon Nichols, Isaac Thompson, Carter Prisby, Andrew Mladek and Ryder Denning will make up the lightweights.

MIDDLEWEIGHTS

Luke Miller, Dominick Meckley, Jack Masters and Jayden Prudder will be the middleweights lineup this year for the Ravens.

UPPERWEIGHTS

Only Bradley Davis is a returning letterman, but the upper weights will be given depth from Carlyn Talley, Dominic Heeter and Tommy Schafer.

WHAT MAKES THIS TEAM SPECIAL?

“We are a very young team. These young kids started at the middle school and have come through the program’s foundation and expectations from our program as a whole. They work very hard and strive to become great.”

UNDERCLASSMEN TO WATCH

Carson Swauger, Noah Brode, Bryant Raley.

CAUSE FOR CONCERN

“We are very young. Getting our injured wrestlers possibly healthy for the second half of the year for a good team run.”

LEAGUE OUTLOOK

“We have some really good wrestling in our league, but Streetsboro, Norton and Springfield are a few of the teams that will set the bar.”
