“Ashlyn Leavery and Adrianna Mineo continued their strong play after a great showing a Brookledge Golf Course on Thursday,” said Roosevelt head coach Bryan Harvey. “Coco Golden has also had a couple of good days as her first varsity experience and has avoided the big number and played bogey golf.
“Kate Ennemoser is driving the ball well and Ella Houk and Cassidy Singer are very close to scoring in the 80s for 18 holes,” the coach added.
“If we sharpen our short games, and we can be competitive all season long,” concluded Harvey.
Next up for Roosevelt is its Lady Riders Invitationa, with two flights hosted at The Fairways at Twin Lakes on Saturday.

The Waterloo Vikings dropped their first match of the season to visiting McDonald at Paradise Lake Golf Club.
McDonald topped the Vikes by 10 strokes behind the strong scoring of Chris Rogazzine (30) and Gavin Shriner (43).
Leading Waterloo was Trevor Simons (30) and Clayton Smith (42).
McDonald demonstrated their depth, topping Waterloo in the third and fourth man scores.
