The Falcons dominated on Tuesday for their first Metro Athletic Conference victory of the season over the visiting Springfield Spartans.
Of the 16 shots on goal for the Falcons, 13 found the back of the net, with senior Cassie Wilde leading the way with five goals. The senior captain also added an assist.
Junior Olivia Kessler also registered a hat trick in the game.
Sophomore McKayla Miller, sophomore Delilah Rahe, sophomore Ally Darlin and junior Mickey Herendeen scored a goal each for the Falcons.
Harlin and Rahe each added a pair of assists, as did Miller, along with sophomore Lena Wymer.
BERKSHIRE 6, ROOTSTOWN 1
The Rovers struggled in a non-league matchup with the Badgers on Tuesday.
The only goal scored by the Rovers was netted by Porter Smith, coming on an assist by Melanie Plecko.

The G-Men swept the visiting Vikings, with Madeline Shirkey (33 assists), Gabby Barnard (15 kills and 18 digs), Montana McGranahan (10 kills) and Kyla Grace (21 digs) leading the way.
Shirkey added 12 digs and McGranahan also had 10 kills, while Hannah Kernig had nine kills and Mandy Cardinal with four kills for the G-Men.

The Rockets rebounded from losing Tuesday’s first game to run through three straight victories and earn th non-league road victory.
For Rootstown, Lindsay Smith led the way with 10 points and five aces, while Nadia Lough had 12 kills and Allison Strickland added nine points and 10 assists.
Statistical leaders for Streetsboro were not reported to Portage Sports.

25-17, 25-12, 26-24
The three-game sweep for the Vikings was highlighted by an exciting rally in the third game to lift the team to victory.
“We almost dropped the third set. We were down 24-19 rallied back to win, with Miranda Long scoring us with an ace to win it,” Waterloo head coach Aleck Franks said.
Long also finished with a team-high 16 assists, while Alexis Eddy had 10 digs.
It was the season opener for the Vikings.
CRESTWOOD 2, LAKESIDE 2
A pair of goals by Jayden Julian helped the host Red Devils notch a tie against Lakeside on Tuesday at Jack Lambert Stadium in Mantua.
Julian netted a goal in each half, with one of them being assisted by Elijah Jurisch.
CLOVERLEAF 6, RAVENNA 1
The Ravens could not keep up with the high-powered offense of the Colts on Tuesday.
Cloverleaf scored three goals in both halves, while Ravenna’s only goal came in the second half on a shot by Mason Ward from an assist by Nick Iurato.
It was the first Metro Athletic Conference game for both teams.
FIELD 7, SPRINGFIELD 1
A hat trick from Kyle Schoenbeck highlighted Field’s commanding MAC victory over visiting Springfield.
Single goals from Garit Greene, Luke Lonzrick, Brayden Ronowski and Mitchel Adams completed the scoring for the Falcons.
Gavin Greene added an assist to lift his season total to three already. He will need 14 on the season to tie the program’s career mark and 15 will break for a new school record.
