Scoring came quick for the Vikings in Monday’s lopsided road victory over Newton Falls on Monday.
Junior Kaira English netted a hat trick and added an assist, while Mya Bennett also had a multi-goal game with two goals.
Rose Couts, Sydney Jackson and Olivia Boyle all scored a goal each in the first half as Waterloo built a commanding 8-1 lead by halftime.
The Vikings’ second-half goal was scored by Kayla Thompson.
In goal for Waterloo was Grace Yarian, who had four saves.

After a scoreless first half, Canton South notched the game’s only goal midway through the second half.
The goal stood up and gave the Wildcats the victory.
In the first half, the Wildcats dominated possession and shots on goal, but Waterloo goalkeeper Caleb Scheiffele was up to the challenge and made several big saves.
Scoring opportunities for the Vikings in the second half just missed high on shots by Gabe Jones and Isaac Biltz.
Maxx Newkirk had a solid game defensively for the Vikings.

The Falcons scored the shutout victory behind the four-goal effort of Kyle Schoenbeck.
Field’s fifth goal of the game came from Gavin Greene from about 25 to 30 yards out.
One of Schoenbeck’s goals was assisted by Wyatt Race.
Earning the shutout in goal was Caleb Brastine.

The Bombers battled competitively for three games, but could not get over the top.
Kaneese Cunningham was the points leader for Windham with nine, while Quinn Justham had 11 assists and Za’Nya Henderson had 15 digs.
Bria Daniel and Julia Jones each had five kills for the Bombers, while Daniel added four blocks at the net.
