The Pirates battled to an even 1-1 game at halftime, then erupted for six total goals in the second half to storm their way to a 7-2 home victory over United.
Southeast (5-1) broke the game open by scoring four goals in the second half’s first 12 minutes.
Sophia Fischer netted a pair of the goals, while Mya Sutcliffe and Cami McPeak scored the other two in the early second half attack.
Emmi Smallfield, who scored the Pirates first-half goal on a long-distance shot from 40 yards out, scored her second goal of the game in the second half, while Maddie Lutes also had a second-half goal.
After losing the season opener to Streetsboro, the Pirates have now won five consecutive games over Newton Falls, Cardinal Mooney, Lake Center Christian, St. Thomas Aquinas and now United.
AURORA 4, FAIRVIEW PARK 0
The Greenmen pulled its record back to even with a shutout road win on Saturday.
Aurora is now 2-2, with Saturday’s triumph led by a pair of goals from E. Vadivelan. Cailyn Reise and M. Houde each added a goal.
Reis also had an assist in the game.
