SOUTHEAST 176, ROOTSTOWN 225

Gracie Westover fired a 37 to lead the Pirates to their second victory of the season, besting Rootstown at Sunny Hill Golf Course in Brimfield.

Taylor Blazek added a 44 for Southeast.

Rootstown’s Alex Biggin carded a 54 for the Rovers.

SUBURBAN LEAGUE TOURNAMENT #1

Old Avalon Golf Course in Warren plays to a par 71, but several girls in the Suburban League shot far below par.

Aurora’s Brooklyn Millard went low, turning in a 65, good for an outstanding 6-under-par to push Aurora (300) to a runner-up finish to Medina Highland (282). Gracyn Vidovic, of Aurora, added a 2-under-par 61 to land both girls from Aurora in the top four of the Suburban American Conference Tournament.

The Riders (321) finished in third, as Maddie Kost was having her own solid day on the course firing a 5-under-par 66.
